Requirements

• Proven experience as a Meat Cutter or Butcher in a butcher shop, grocery store, or similar environment
• In-depth knowledge of meat-cutting techniques, including butchery, portioning, and trimming, with a focus on quality and consistency
• Familiarity with a wide range of meat products, cuts, and grades, as well as the ability to accurately identify and differentiate between various cuts
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects, including meat carcasses and equipment

Education and Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent
